Even if you regularly clean your wardrobe out of clothing that you no longer wear, or that doesn’t fit you any more, the chances are that you still get clothing choice overwhelm at one point or another. If you want to find a better way to store your clothes that allows you to grab the items that you want in the seasons that you need them, you might want to look at storing your clothes in a way that is conducive to you finding them.

Storing your clothing based on the season allows you to empty your wardrobe of all the items that are not appropriate at any given time and instead fill it with those items that you love to wear. It is important to remember that there are some items that will remain in your wardrobe permanently, such as a work uniform or workwear. But for the most part you will be able to put away your winter clothes as we enter into spring and bring them back out again in the autumn.

You can essentially operate on a two season basis with similar clothes being worn in autumn and winter and those in spring and summer. The clothes that you don’t place in the wardrobe for the relevant season can then be stored away ready for later on in the year. This could mean using storage boxes or bags that you can place underneath your bed. Be sure to fold your stored clothing up nicely and store them away in an appropriate manner depending on the clothing type and the material that they are made of.

Now you can reach into your wardrobe and grab something fabulous to wear without having to stress about dodging all the clothes that you won’t be wearing for a while.
