Ways to categorise your clothing

When it comes to categorising your clothing there are a number of ways that you can achieve this. It will depend very much on the type of person you are, how many items of clothing you have and what space you have available to you.

Here are a few ways that you might want to consider.

Type – for some people it is important that alike items are stored together. This would see shirts from the Ralph Lauren Menswear collection, like those from EJ Menswear hanging together in the wardrobe. Jumpers would be stored together and trousers would be placed next to each other.

Occasion – for others storing clothing based on the occasion in which they would be worn is the best option. This would mean clothes that are worn to work would be hung next to one another and casual clothing would be placed in a different section of the wardrobe or might be placed on shelving or in drawers instead.

Colours – if you put a lot of thought into the clothing that you wear and the colours and patterns that complement one another, you might want to consider having your clothing in colour order. This would enable you to pick a top from one section of colours and then pair this with a pair of trousers from another section that would eb colour that goes with this.
